Gretchen Patterson’s “Learn French in the Kitchen” is still the best resource for guiding young learners of French and cooking. It really does a great job of, at first slowly, and then with gathering speed, increasing the child’s facility in French by using the context of the kitchen and cooking to make it fun. I wish Gretchen Patterson could written more books along these lines.
